Sweden&#8217;s King Oscar II spent almost every summer from 1887 to 1907 on Marstrand, bringing royal splendor to the island and the societies. The so-called Kungsplanen became a natural hub for the social life that has since made Marstrand the famous place it is today. From the Marstrand ferry terminal, the ferry (line 322) between Ko\u00f6n and Marstrand runs regularly around the clock and it only takes 2 minutes to cross. On Marstrands island, turn right after the ferry terminal and walk along the quay to the north and you will arrive at Marstrands Kurhotell after a short
